Chili Cook Off Judging Criteria

Storefronts
Should be ready for the judges by 11:00 a.m.
Scored on originality, ability to capture team theme, and artistic merit.

Team Events (skits, songs, poems, raps, etc.):
Start at 11:00 on day of cookoff. Scored on originality, ability to capture team theme, ability to hold judges' attention, execution, etc. Five minutes allowed for each team. This includes set-up time. Must inform committee of participation on or before April 1st. pre-cookoff clinic. Team order will be determined by random selection after the team participation list is completed. It is the team's responsibility to be ready to perform without delay or risk disqualification. Team event will be held at storefront.
